Introspection...

It’s always very painful to leave a place where u have been living for some years; there are so many memories, feelings, emotions attached to the place. All of them one has to leave behind and move ahead in the journey of life. I guess same is the story with most of the people. That is why they say that Change is the spice of life, but this spice does not suit everybody. For some it is a pleasant surprise and for some it is an agony.
My story also runs in the same direction. I have been changing places throughout my life and have faced all those mentioned above. They say that change is constant. But the big question is – If change is constant then why life doesn’t agree to the fact and happily agrees to the change? I guess I do have an answer. Happiness is never self –centric. It is associated with the places, environment, and people around us, our friends, colleagues, and many more intangible things. When we leave a place we leave not just only the place but all those environment, people around us, friends, colleagues, and those intangible support pillars of happiness. what we take back is just memories and nothing else. That is why it is painful – leaving all those which we had.
The relevance of place can never be ignored. But this is not the only crucial factor to pain or happiness. Our pain or happiness is also dependent a lot on the environment we live in. our environment which encompasses our feelings of pain and happiness plays a very crucial role in our endeavor towards happiness. It is the environment which gives us a vision to think. It moulds our lifestyle based on our surroundings. It gives us the opportunity to learn, analyze and interpret the situations accordingly and finally we acclimatize to the environment we are living and find pain or happiness in that.
Sometimes this change works as a boon to someone who is deeply soaked with sorrow and desperately wants something to happen. And that happens in the form of change. They either get a change of place or a change in their environment they are living.
“Place and environment” according to me are two of the most important factors of life. Our life totally depends on these two pillars.
“Spice” the word mentioned earlier, its importance should not be ignored. An example will make it clearer. Imagine a food cooked having salt as the only ingredient in it and a food containing all the ingredients. Which one would be tastier??? The former or the latter. Definitely, the latter one. Spice certainly adds taste. Similar is the case with the word “change”. Change can be compare to spice. It makes our life more happening rather than being monotonous. I believe that there are very few people in this world who would like to lead a monotonous life. Our life will be more painful if there is no change in it. So instead of being scared of change we should more willingly accept it because the benefits of change weigh more than its drawbacks.

It is rightly said –

“One cannot understand the importance of happiness unless he encounters pain”.

Khwab...

Sapno ke bagh me ek haseen khwab dekha hai,

Bagh me khila ek lal gulab dekha hai.

pankhudiyon me uske paani ki boonden padi hai.

Suraj ki kirno ko unhe moti banate dekha hai.

Badi khoobsurat hai ye duniya

Ye ehsaas panapte dekha hai

Is khoobsurti ko pane ke liye

Is dil ko tadapte dekha hai.

Sapno ke bag me ek haseen khwab dekha hai

Is dil me chipe khoobsurat ehsas ko dekha hai.

Aankho ke raaste ek hassen ehsas dekha hai

Ehsason ke samandar me khushiyan pirote dekha hai.

samandar ki in lehron se ladna, aasan nahin hota yaaron

Par phir bhi, jeevan ko khushiyon se khilte dekha hai.

Sapno ke bag me ek haseen khwab dekha hai

Khwab me main ek lal gulab dekha hai...

In Search Of Hapiness.....

After so much nice comments and encouragement for my first blog I believe that I was able to convey the message to you all. But this is not the end. The journey has just started. A journey of a thousand mile starts with a single step, and I have taken that single step successfully. Now what next…?

Let’s talk about something which is a bit different. something which is known to everybody but which is hidden somewhere deep in their heart. let me bring those things right in front of you to think... :)

In the today’s hi-tech competitive world of real business everything is changing very rapidly, the technology, the market, the needs, requirements of the individual, the standard of living… everything. Now the only thing which is constant is change. People are so busy among themselves that they don’t have time for others around them. there is cut-throat competition everywhere. Everybody wants to move ahead in the race of life, wants to be the first, and for that, not all, but most of them even don’t hesitate to use unethical ways of surpassing their competitors. In my one year of experience at ICFAI so far, I have seen this happen and in good numbers. Many a time I feel that people are totally ignoring what matters the most. And that is love and friendship. Many a time people give higher priority to their goals and objectives over the relationships which they have and need to maintain with the others.

Hence in this write-up what I am focusing on is the importance of relationships in life, friendships, love, “THE IMPORTANCE OF HAPPINESS IN LIFE”. In today’s busy life it is very-very important for us to realize that we are living in a social environment, everybody is not our competitor but there are also friend hidden behind and peeping through the nook towards us with a friendly smile. We all want to have someone in life who cares about us, makes us realize that there is someone for us who is always at our side, one who fights with others for us, make us realize that how important we are to him/her or them, who always wants us to smile. But for that we also need to realize that we are not so busy to ignore such important relations in life. We need to give importance to all the small rays of light peeping through the darkness and making us realize that life is not all about competition, work, money, etc. life says that we need to enjoy every bit of it which we have got. We should not forget the fact that time which passes away once never comes back. Hence we need to make optimum utilization of the available time in our hand not only for earning money, prestige, successful career, but, for EARNING HAPPINESS. Earn happiness in life. Give priority to those which leads you towards the path of happiness.

Some people think that money is everything, a means to achieving the ultimate happiness. Earning money is directly proportional to happiness. More money means more happiness, and a comfortable living. But this is not the truth. What matters the most is not how much money you earn, but how much happiness, joy, friendship, love and satisfaction you earn. I have seen a lot of people not satisfied with what they have got. They are always complaining about the things which they have got, things which they come across. But what I feel is instead of complaining, showing dissatisfaction towards them we should try to find the good in them. What I would say is “IF YOU DO NOT GET THE BEST, TRY TO EXTRACT THE BEST OF WHAT YOU GET”. This will definitely make you satisfied and satisfaction is the road to happiness. (That is the reason why you would not find me complaining about the things which I have got around me).

There is lot of happiness spread around you. You only need to see them feel them and the most important of all preserve them. Try to look at your life in a more optimistic way and then you will find the world the happiest place to live in. So friends be happy and…

Enjoy Life… :)

Moving Towards the Light…

Sometimes you want to say a lot of things but there is no one to listen to you. You seem lonely, darkness spread all over and no ray of light peeping through it. You are just alone and only the darkness stays with you as your partner. Now, you can assume it as your friend or your enemy but this is all you have with you. In such a situation what would be your best decision?? Take it as a friend, or, an enemy? Well… the question doesn’t seem to be tough but the answer may be, to some of you. What do you say? Well what I believe is that the answer can be both. Different people have different perceptions and a different line of thinking. They have their own passions and emotions running through their veins and so have a different approach from each other. What they choose is correct according to them. So, some may choose this darkness as their enemy. Such types of people are very pessimistic and they don’t understand the power of life or to say they underestimate their potential and compromise with what they have got. The others are those who believe that this darkness is their friend. Such people always try to learn from what they have got, and try to analyze as to what they have got and how they can make use of these resources which they have got. They are of the opinion that everything which they have got is meant to make them realize that they are meant to make them learn in somehow or the other. They are there to help them realize that everything in this world is full of some type of knowledge. It depends on how you interpret them and make the optimum utilization of this knowledge. These type of people believe that the glass is always half full (not half empty). They have a very optimistic approach towards life.

So which type of people you want to become. The first, or, the second? A time will always come in your life when you will feel that everything is bleak, dull, you have lost everything and there is no ray of light to help you out in taking you away from this depth of darkness towards the shining light of success. In such a situation it is you who have to decide whether you want to move out or not. If you give it to your fate then you will always remain there and keep on complaining that there is nothing which you can do. But this is not the truth. You can do everything.

You know what is the only difference between the two type of people explained above??

The differentiator is “DETERMINATION”. If you have it in you then you will never always be in the depth of darkness. You will always try to learn analyze and find out the way to get out from the ditch. One should always remember the fact that that it’s the effort that matters. How willing you are to get out of the situation in which you are; Your determination. One should not be afraid of failures and hesitate in taking the first step. If you are afraid then you will never try to attempt, which will make you stay in the darkness forever.

You can learn from the efforts made by Thomas Alva Edison. He tried to create light bulb but he failed every time. He failed but his determination was as hard as a rock. He failed 999 times and finally in his 1000th attempt he was successful. So... what do you learn from this example. It says that one can do what he wants but for that he needs to have “DETERMINATION”. Always remember the fact that: “A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP”. And you need to take that first step, the first step towards success, even if it a failure. It is from the failure which you learn. You know... when Thomas edison was asked in his interview that you have failed 999 times what he said? he said: “I have not failed 999 times but I know 999 ways of not lighting a bulb”. This was the line of thinking he had. There is always something to learn from everything around you and everything which you do. It depends upon you how you interpret it. This is the thing which is called “DETERMINATION”. If you have it in you then you can do anything and everything you want. So now the ball is in your side. What do you want to do? What do you want to choose???.....
